A screen print variation of the original linocut print of “Valley Sol.” The design was created to symbolize the spirit of the people of the Rio Grande Valley. A cross between a blazing sun and a resilient sunflower, I wanted to create a reproducible icon that evokes pride in our complex and challenging region.
