“Valley Sol” silkscreen printed on a cotton muslin patch. Use the pre-marked holes and the included thread to patch onto a jacket or the flat side of a bag. Pin onto a wall until you find its perfect match!
About the design:
A screen print variation of the original linocut print, “Valley Sol.” The design was created to symbolize the spirit of the people of the Rio Grande Valley. A cross between a blazing sun and a resilient sunflower, I wanted to create a sigil that evokes pride in our complex and challenging region.
included
8”x10” patch
2 rolls of cotton thread, one white and one dyed with marigold
note: follow the dots on the edge of the patch with a running stitch, then iron to remove the dots
